Short version: The SendToAI extension reads your local project files to bundle them — that data never leaves your machine and is never sent to us. The only personal data we ever receive is what you provide at checkout (name and email), and that is handled by Lemon Squeezy.
This Privacy Policy describes how OxainZ ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the SendToAI VS Code extension and website at sendtoai.dev.
SendToAI reads files from your local project directory and combines them into a single text block that you copy to your clipboard. This is the core function of the extension.
Your project files are never transmitted to our servers. All file reading, processing, and bundling happens entirely on your local machine. The resulting bundle is placed on your clipboard — where you send it after that (e.g. pasting into Claude or ChatGPT) is entirely your choice and subject to those services' own privacy policies.

If you purchase SendToAI Pro, the extension will make HTTPS requests to the Lemon Squeezy License API to activate and periodically validate your license key. These requests include:
env.machineId — this is a non-reversible hash, not your real machine name or any personal identifier)These requests go directly to Lemon Squeezy's servers. We do not operate a separate validation server and do not log these requests ourselves.
When you purchase SendToAI Pro, your payment and personal details (name, email address, billing information) are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. We receive only a summary of the transaction (that a purchase was made) and your email address for license delivery purposes.
Lemon Squeezy's privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy.
The sendtoai.dev website does not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service. We do not place cookies on your browser. Standard server access logs (IP address, pages visited, referrer) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes only.
We retain your email address and order information for as long as required to honour your license and comply with our legal obligations (typically 7 years for financial records). You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@sendtoai.dev.
SendToAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated via the GitHub repository.
